The Orbus Backpack Project

This project is being conducted by the South Yarra Presbyterian Church (SYPC) in Melbourne Australia on behalf of Orbus.

Financial donations in lieu of a backpack If you live outside the Melbourne area: Due to logistics and the prohibitive cost of posting a backpack to SYPC, for shipping to Malawi in a sea container, SYPC are accepting monetary donations which will be used by SYPC to prepare a backpack on your behalf.

Financial donations to cover shipping costs: SYPC are also accepting donations from interested donors to cover the cost of shipping to Malawi. Please email admin@orbusafrica.org for details or to arrange making a donation.

Click HERE for flyer details on the SYPC Orbus Backpack Project, a project to provide orphans in Blantyre, Malawi with a backpack each filled with things they need for school. Please specify on the outside of the backpack whether it is for a girl or a boy.

Backpacks can be dropped off at:

South Yarra Presbyterian Church; 621 Punt Rd; South Yarra VIC 314; AUSTRALIA

Please drop them off on Friday mornings between 9.30am and 12 noon and also on Sundays all day. Please take them to the hall at the rear (through the gate, 1st door on the left).
