Orbus is seeking a qualified builder for a short-term mission.
Orbus Development and Aid in Central Africa Limited is seeking a suitably qualified Christian to spend October 2009 – March 2010 (negotiable) on volunteer service in Blantyre, Malawi, as Acting Project Manager.
The successful applicant will be a person with demonstrated ability in the building industry, skills in project management, and with recommendation from his/her session (or equivalent) as having suitable temperament and gifting to work harmoniously alongside our Malawian partners.
The Acting Project Manager will work always at the direction of and under the authority of the Directors of Orbus and be accountable to the Directors. The focus of the task is to bring Stage One of the construction phase to completion and to begin to bring the project into its operational phase. Orbus will assist with airfares, accommodation costs and living expenses (negotiable). There is no salary.
