Non-Tax-deductible Donations
Donations are accepted worldwide through the South Yarra Presbyterian Church (SYPC):
100% of the funds received on behalf of Orbus by SYPC are sent from Australia for use in Orbus projects. There are no administration or other fees taken out by SYPC in Australia, apart from normal bank fees and transfer fees to Africa. This fundraising does not provide donors in Australia with a tax-deduction. (For details on donating to Orbus through World Relief to obtain an Australian tax-deduction please click here.)
When making your donation, unless it is specified that you would like your donation to go toward a specific project, such as Ngumbe, the Orbus Project Management Group in Australia will allocate your funds to an orphan care project on your behalf at their discretion, this may be an existing Orbus project or a new Orbus project. You may specify a project or give directions for its use if you like in writing or by emailing admin@orbusafrica.org.
